what tips?

er well..this took me like ages, contemplating whether or not to write..coz im not an expert anyway..

dont write=selfish coz didnt share

write=show off, as if a know-all

so obviously now im writing,as you can see..for the benefit of those who care to read/know..*sigh* #shameless

 

so it’ll be all about this evil BB cream, which seemed to be the fav of many asian stars as it claims to have multiple functions in one bottle, i.e. foundation/coverage, blemish balm (which,was the main character of this product), whitening+UV, anti-aging and more, depends on the brand/product..some even have the gemstones’ extract =_____=”

 

i have been putting make up since secondary school,for performances. and as many other vain girls, i once used this product too, tho i didnt ‘embrace’ it/ ‘worship’ it. i thought i’d love it as i was always on the go, moving from work to gatherings or running errands and etc..it was just convenient..

so one day i find myself having weird ‘glow’ (more like ghostly, get it?), not that kind of ‘glow’ we girls wanna have, you see..and when i go under the sun, somehow i can clearly see the layer of BB cream above my skin, like elevated..=.=”

 

i didnt think much, but i stopped using it anyway. i dont usually put foundation as i think it is too clogging for my skin and troublesome to maintain..i dont use lipstick too as i deem it too thick/bold for lip colour.. but i love my fake lashes, tinted lip balm, tinted moisturiser, and blush.. and i changed to put on masks more frequently, and make sure i use appropriate product for my skin based on skin type and the functions i want, separating day (UV based) and night products (as the skin works differently at different times)..

 

then one day, i saw this video:

 

basically it says,

1. as the word ‘greed’ tells, there just cant be that many elements in one product, and very often,to reach that goal, it could involves other ways of production that harm the skin.
2. it could well covers, but will never nourishes the skin. = not nutritious for skin
3. many of us wanted the ‘glow’ on our skin, so manufacturers also includes the fluorescent elements in the BB cream, which, if you go under the night club’s light/flash, you actually see the ghostly-lit face.

with logical consideration, i think this is very true..so i ditched my BB cream.

 

case 1: not long ago, a friend asked me about it. i said, you can try other stuff but never the BB cream( due to the reason above). and soon another friend of ours also commented that it is true that BB cream is not trustworthy.

[for stage performances, i still recommend the foundation, as the light is too harsh, but remember to let skin rest and recover from make up,always, or your bare face/skin would collapse]

case 2: alright this is very embarrassing..i actually saw a photo, and felt something is not right..so the very kepoh (nosy) me went and asked my friend whether she used BB cream, and true enough, she suspects that the bad breakouts was caused by it (she has just opened that bottle of BB cream), so the even more kepoh (nosy) me went on and explained to her. (good thing must share, right? =_=)

 

so now you know how evil it is..

 

as i’ve always said, the skin is more important than the make up, nourish it instead of covering it..(also dont need to scare the BF away after wiping the make up off..LOL..)

nah…..i wasnt on a plane, i was in Jusco.

so i saw this old Japanese couple,trying to ask for the direction for some..‘food’.. the sales assistant told them the direction of the food court. but they still seem confused..=_=

then they went up with the escalator, and they asked another guard again.. and the guard told them the same thing..i doubt that’s what they were looking for..

this time,i decided to chip in and kay poh..=_=

somehow i knew they were referring to the fresh market,which would be at the ground floor..

so i told the guard to leave it to me and i’ll show them the way..

i wanted to start speaking my Japanese! but……….i forgot how…..

arghhhhh!! *runs in frantic circles*

well i better not embarrass myself,i thought. so English it was.

so anyway i brought them to the place and YES,they were referring to the fresh market. then i left them there.

while i was picking up my own stuff i was still so worried about the old couple,i kept wanting to guide them all the way or ask them how they are feeling..

then i really met them in the fresh market. and we paid at the same counter. but the Ojisan was too busy trying to figure out yet another set of information the cashier tried to tell them he didnt notice me. anyway they settled it pretty soon. and i had to pay my stuff so i didnt even went up and ask ‘all OK?’

and when i finished paying my stuff they were nowhere to be seen =_=

i just hope they are alright..*prays hard*

 

you know,the hospitality and kindness is so important to tourist or newcomers..they are so..kesian..=.=

so i think,erm,be a good samaritan, but only when the situation allows.

as I’ve told somebody, having birthday (almost) clashed with the hungry ghost festival is…..=_= *sigh*

i know my ex can clearly remember when i called him about that..=.=

somebody’s control is so low and i got scolded for trying to make just 1 harmless statement..=_=

i cried to sleep, and half way blasted with heartwarming messages..complicated huh..

woke up, do the usual things bla bla bla..got more wishes..happy^^ tho no celebration..

i hold on til around 5pm then went off to 1U for the premiere, only to reach around 7+pm..

so we chose to eat nearby since i have to wait for the special ticket booth to open..

ate nice things with cakes, then only got KK’s call for cake..thanks anyway!^^

so we went in for the movie..

in the movie, to me, is all: die , die, die. =_=’’’’’

but quite a plot =0

Special dinner~~

last night was the special dinner to formally introduce the two newly-coupled couple (LOL!)

i was thinking while i was on the way, why so sudden for a dinner at the restaurant?

then only i know its the formal ‘introduction ceremony’ for the two couple =.=’’’’’

i even teased them telling them they should serve tea to KK & the ‘Da Sao’ as he is the oldest  XD hahahahaha…..

 

well wishes for the four of you ^^

first of all, condolences to the family, and prayings for the girl.....(the case where the mum accidentally ran into her own daughter when she tried to drive the car, was my bf's friend.....*sigh*).....so, please be extra careful, dont think people's advice or words are total nonsense.....when check means check carefully, better be safe than sorry, that's why some procedures are meant to be there... ==''' ok,maybe i dont know what im talking about.....

and second, stop the alchohol la can u? the negative effect was like, countless!! infinity!! u need me to tell u that?! stop it la wei!! whoever keep providing the alchohol i sure face off gao gao i tell u!!rip it off la!! who say happy occassion must drink wan? anything happen i take YOU resposible and u'll pay for that!!

NOT FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES

my 'luggage' is still on the floor, and i have not bath yet...but i'm so dying to write down about these few days...

for my life in uni, i was finally in the exco (ahem,so called la) team for orientation...with blazer and walkie talkie, can make annoucement that type...haha...

and i have so many types of feelings in me that i don't know how to describe it...

but i'm thankful,for everyone, and for we've made this event through...(i don't dare to say success coz i have not heard from any DSA or VIP on how they feel about this time, especially when we've a new president =='')

well, it began with the interview, which i only remember how nervous i was, and bel and vinu sitting there. =='' and later vinu told me about what the officer said (ok,secret)

then the meetings were always a hilarious one, not as i thought with much finger pointing and all. but of course with worries and hiccups...

and friday, where we were busy from morning til evening. setting up, last meeting before that...important briefing etc etc...oh,and not to forget being nagged by somebody on serving VIPs...==''but in the end it really helped hehe...

and today,haha... let's see, i want to thank shing shing and teng teng for helping me out, and their nervous face when they have to serve the VIPs...hahaha....ok la sorry la but very hilarious...the way you all jump down from lazy-ing on the banquet tables.hahah...o ya, that includes you,steph,sze ru and two other helpers...xp

i'm sure teng teng and shing shing you both get some experience hor? being bugged by caring parents, students...and not to forget having to block the students from sneaking out from the hall...hahhaa....(fuyoh...i tell you ah, bergaya you know those guys....thumbs up,because i thought you guys scared the freshies and alot of them came back even after lunch break...hahha...)

and talking about McD should sponsor us the meals since our Op Room was filled with packets of McD meals,which they bought in the morning.

what else, oh, DC's '2nd' video shoot (yeap, apart form the Nescafe, =p)...directed by bel for ice breaking prog...hahah...super matching with the ice breaking's promotion....hahah..initially i thought of telling the MCs to tell them to look for the main characters,but in the end,they just point it out where DC was. ==''' ok la ok la...

ahem no no, you can't watch it yet, photos and vidoe are not with me yet...blame it on my bluetooth also although i have some on my phone...

well,nites...yeap...i know,boring...yeah...

then, it was merdeka day, and also our 4th anniversary...

i wanted to eat at secret recipe and watch 'money still no enough'...i sooooooo wanted to watch it....

so anyway,i went up to the cinema first...i was so disappointed when the movie i want to watch is FULL because its a public holiday==''

AND THAT'S WHERE THEY WERE STANDING PRETENDING HAVING PHONE CONVERSATIONS...(they wanted to give me a surprise since i didn't know they're coming...

but poor them: I DIDN'T WEAR MY GLASSES SO I CANT SEE SMALL FACES CLEARLY...hahahhaa!!!!

i was then walking with *him* then bee knocked on my head....

then only i was 'suprised'....==''

bee actually started it and pakat with them to give me the surprise, of course, *he* is in also la...==''


so we went to eat at ichiban ramen at downstairs...

then we went up again to see if there's any other movie that we all can watch together...

and we ended up watching:

clearly im not going to tell you about it here, you'll have to go and watch it yourself,won't you? hehe....

it was super violent and all blasting but the plot was nicely set up, as well as the storyline, with the deep emotional flush! hohohoho....

(although bee didnt like it)

then, it was time to part since vinu have to work, and both of us went to buy grocery^^

and thennnn.....its present unwrap-ping time!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah!!

it's tupperware...right...they're hinting me to cook for them (more)...hahah....
