birthday post

when i was..er..brainstorming this blog post i thought of ‘birthday outfit’…get it get it?? like birthday suit== and then i thought of ‘birthday skin’ (soft and smooth baby skin, aw..), ‘birthday hair’ (bald), ‘birthday makeup’! (the nude makeup, yea that’s it.) H.A.H.A.H.A.

oh ok. the ‘birthday outfit’. with my vincci quilted one.

so we went to this Sabah Tea Garden (STG) Tea House Cafe.




it is actually like the Secret Garden, modified from those old banglows..oh gosh loving those nostalgic colonial atmosphere..

atmosphere was good..the tea was fragrant..but food was okay..we had tea smoked chicken whole leg and pan grilled salmon. the skin was crispy..just the meat was a bit bland..

after birthday dinner, off to the art market in Festival Walk..
(yea finally Ipoh got some artistic injection!)


so this birthday shopping haul, i got this hello kitty glycerin soap! *squeals
and another pack from a stall selling handmade essential oil soaps..i got myself tea tree (anti bacterial and fungal, am in some bad skin condition now hence didnt do much vain stuff except keeping it clean and treated), ginger (girls need this!) , a lavender eye bag (to be used while sleeping, relaxes and sooth the eyes and mind, i NEED this.) and soap bags (which are supposed to help lathering and protect soaps). they gave a free lavender hello kitty soap! *squeals2
they also sell soaps without essential oils, suitable for babies, pregnant women and those with sensitive skin.



no this is not from the art market. i got this from watsons. when i saw the ‘pore minimiser’ i thought , “wow, really?” and decided to give it a try.

Play Dress Up

as useless as the title suggest. =_=

but got pretty inspired so went and got these pieces in the end.

all are from ACEWIN (except a few pieces of the accessories ), which im growing fond of.

items are all below RM40.

first of all, love this versatile jacket A LOT. got inspired from Chriselle Lim .

 

paired with the knitted dress.

 

 

and with some sort of tank top cut dress.

 

 

also, tried going soft inside with chiffon-y dress.

i picked this top for the currently popular collar and chiffon-y material. quite something. no?

can say that times square is my heaven ,LOL..

the only down point was i had to change into my spare flat coz the newly bought heels was too much for me to bear in a shopping trip..

 

a good thing i decided to bring along my spare flat..=0

 

ah but it’s all worth it!!

luckily the novels cost RM5 each and the CLEO is RM5.80 (now why do i remember it being RM5.60??)

couldnt help when they are throwing out the slightly damaged books to the RM5 pile and the addiction revived =_____=

this is the book fair, dont even mention about the NovelHut second hand bookstore im telling you..

(the truth is, i still have 8 books in a pile beside my table,waiting to be read=_____= see that now?)

and for bonus, i got a red bomb from a classmate from primary school.. not to forget, cousin’s wedding too..

*sigh* i know..OLD..dont mention it..im so going to buy that Hada Labo lotion soon..and of course with alot of other ‘necessities’..talk about the ‘addiction’..=.=

Magic Mask!!

[alright, let’s see how many people click this. but anyway]

ah, i told ya’ll to take note of the picture,no?

i know 100Yen shop and some other shops (beauty shops) sells the plain mask sheets (without any serums or stuff,so you can dip/saturate it in your favourite ‘elixir’) and i even saw plain eye mask sheets..

but after reading Tey Cindy’s post on this cute thing in the picture (also available in SaSa but possibly different brand or sort, and mine was heart shape!! <3<3) , i was eager to try this tho i didnt actually/specifically decided to go out and buy this.

 

WARNING: POTENTIALLY ADDICTIVE.

 

oh,and here’s what i used:

Ok the story is, my bottle of Vichy Eau Thermale has a faulty nozzle that will literally splurt out alot of the ‘elixir’ once i press the nozzle (aside from the regular spraying) so i had a hard time to decide whether to waste it all at one use or just let it rot in my pink basket..

so instead of thinking how to crack open the bottle to fill that oval space as shown in the picture, i just press the nozzle once and let it does its work to ‘splurt’ out enough for the oval space, to do this:

 

wait..wait..wait for it..

 

 

 

annnnnd here it is:

 

ROFL!! XD  eeeeeeeeee~~~~~ isnt it fun??!!

 

and carefully opened it and spread it on my face,letting it absorb the Eau Thermale..

and felt so refreshing after it!! =D

 

you can also pick from your favourite ‘elixir’ like toners (yea i heard people do that before) or spring water or you know,water based stuff..

 

 

*sigh* i have to resist myself from finishing all these uber cute tablets at one go!!!!! >u<

Steal!! RM5

 

well, was out with god sis with the intention to bring her around the new De Garden’s Ladies’ Street..ended up we spent the longest hour (if im not mistaken,yes,hour, or if we may, hourS..) in just one shop..Tokutokuya..

it is similar to 100Yen with product prices around RM5 and sells whacky jap tools which you would be amazed at how they come about such idea to help the mankind or sort..we she practically had fun in the shop exploring all the stuff =.=” (it has been my love long before this so im not new to it alright =p )
